Photo taking TIPS!

boywindow.jpg

To take a good photo for your drawing, take the picture next to a bright window in a sun-filled room. Do not use the flash on your camera. Flash will flatten the features. But make sure there aren't patches of bright sun light on the face. You want the face to be well lit by the sunlight, but with no obvious hot spots or shadows on the face.

For outdoor photos, the best time is a slightly overcasted day. Bright sunny day photos can cast a dark racoon-like shadow around the eyes.

If you have any concerns regarding the photos you have, please contact us.  We will work with you to get the best results possible.
